Sodium/bile acid cotransporters are integral membrane glycoproteins that participate in the enterohepatic circulation of bile acids. Two homologous transporters are involved in the reabsorption of bile acids, one absorbing from the intestinal lumen, the bile duct, and the kidney with an apical localization (SLC10A2, MIM 601295), and the other being found in the basolateral membranes of hepatocytes (SLC10A1). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Flow Cytometry: 1:25, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
