SERINC2 is a member of a family of carrier proteins, Serinc 1-5, that incorporate a polar amino acid serine into membranes and facilitate the synthesis of two serine-derived lipids, phosphatidylserine and sphingolipids. The Serinc family is a unique protein family that shows no amino acid homology to other proteins but is highly conserved among eukaryotes. The members contain 11 transmembrane domains, similar to amino acid transporters. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
