Anti-SENP5, NT (Sentrin-specific Protease 5, Sentrin/SUMO-specific Protease SENP5, FKSG45)

SENP5 is a protease that catalyzes two essential functions in the SUMO pathway: processing of full-length SUMO3 to its conjugatable mature form and deconjugation of SUMO2 and SUMO3 from targeted substrates. This protein has weak proteolytic activity against full-length SUMO1 or SUMO1 conjugates. SENP5 is required for cell division. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
