C9orf115 belongs to the Peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase (PTH) family. Peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase (PTH) is a monomeric protein that cleaves the ester bond linking the nascent peptide and tRNA when peptidyl-tRNA is released prematurely from the ribosome. This ensures the recycling of peptidyl-tRNAs into tRNAs produced through abortion of translation and is essential for cell viability. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
