Produktinformationen "Anti-Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Non-receptor Type 14 (PTPN14, Cytoskeletal-associated PTP)"
Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Non-receptor type 14 (PTPN14), also called Phosphatase , with Ezrin Domain (PEZ) and PTP36, is a 135kD cytosolic protein that dephosphorylates tyrosine residues in proteins. PTPN14's Ezrin domain is homologous to erythrocyte Band 4.1 protein, targeting the phosphatase to cytoskeletal elements such as actin. PTPN14 associates with beta-catenin in adhesion zones in cells that are touching, but is nuclear in isolated, proliferating cells. Loss-of-function mutations in PTPN14 are found in 26% of colorectal cancers, suggesting it is a tumor suppressor. Applications: Suitable for use in Western blot . Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: mouse myeloma were fused with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli-derived recombinant human PTPN14. Storage and Stability: , Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile buffer. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
