Anti-PRAMEF6, CT (PRAMEF6, PRAME family member 6) (Azide free) (APC)

Melanoma antigen preferentially expressed in tumors is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PRAME gene.1,2,3 which encodes an antigen that is predominantly expressed in human melanomas and that is recognized by cytolytic T lymphocytes. It is not expressed in normal tissues, except testis. This expression pattern is similar to that of other CT antigens, such as MAGE, BAGE and GAGE. However, unlike these other CT antigens, this gene is also expressed in acute leukemias. Five alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry and FLISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
