Anti-Patched 2 (PTCH2, PTC2, Patched Homolog 2, Patched Protein Homolog 2)

Mutations of the human Patched tumor suppressor gene (PTCH) have been identified in individuals with the nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS) as well as in sporadic basal cell carcinomas and medulloblastomas. PTCH2 has a frameshift mutation resulting in a truncated PTCH2 protein. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Does not work in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:250-1:1500, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
