Anti-p8 (com1) (Nuclear Protein 1, Candidate of Metastasis 1, Protein p8, NUPR1, COM1)

The human p8 gene encodes a nuclear protein with strong mitogenic activity, which is expressed in the pancreas in response to acute pancreatitis. Response to TNF alpha and staurosporine-induced apoptosis is not modified by p8 expression. However, cells expressing p8 grow significantly and more rapidly. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
