Neurogenin-1 appears to mediate neuronal differentiation. It requires dimerisation with another basic-helix-loop-helix protein for efficient DNA binding. Its expression is restricted to the embryonic nervous system. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 50ug/ml, Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
