MINK1 and MINK2 are serine/threonine protein kinases of the STE subfamily that may play a role in the response to environmental stress. They appears to act upstream of the JUN N-terminal pathway and may play a role in the development of the brain. Expression appears to be ubiquitous, highly expressed in the brain, moderately expressed in kidney and spleen, with lower levels present in heart and skeletal muscle. These proteins are up-regulated during post-natal brain development. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
