Anti-LSM8 Homolog, U6 Small Nuclear RNA Associated (LSM8

This gene is a member of the LSm family and encodes a protein with a closed barrel shape, made up of five anti-parallel beta strands and an alpha helix. The protein partners with six paralogs to form a heteroheptameric ring which transiently binds RNAs and is involved in the general maturation of RNA in the nucleus. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 2:100ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
