Anti-Interleukin 12 Receptor, beta 2 (IL-12Rb2) (PE)

The biological activities of IL-12 are mediated through the high-affinity receptor complex composed of the IL-12 receptor b1 (IL-12 Rb1) and IL-12 receptor b2 (IL-12 Rb2) subunits. IL-12 Rb2 is a 130kD protein that interacts with p35 and is associated with Jak2. The expression of IL-12 Rb2 is absent on nai?ve T cells. Activation of T cells via TCR upregulates IL-12 Rb2 expression on human Th1, but not Th2 cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells. Human CD4+ peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) treated with mouse anti-human CD3e monoclonal antibody, Recombinant human IL-12 and Recombinant human IL-2 to induce Th1 cell development, followed by restimulation with PMA and calcium Ionomycin., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NS0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
