Anti-Interleukin-12 (IL-12)

Interleukin-12 is produced by activated B lymphocytes and macrophages. The properties of IL-12 include the stimulation of growth of activated T lymphocytes and the development of TH1 CD4 positive cells and CD8 positive cytotoxic T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA (direct), Western Blot and Neutralization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml , Neutralization: 0.012-0.20ug/ml to yield one half maximal inhibition (ND50) of mouse IL-12. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. , Recommended Secondary Reagents: , Donkey anti-sheep IgG, H&L (HRP): I1904-63, Donkey anti-goat IgG, H&L (HRP): I1904-28C, Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
