Anti-Interferon gamma (IFNg)

Mature Interferon gamma (IFN-gamma) is a homodimeric cytokine produced primarily by T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells. IFN-gamma has many immunoregulatory and proinflammatory activities. It binds to IFN-gamma receptors present on virtually all cell types. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to neutralize IFN? gamma inhibition of EMCV-induced cytopathy in the PK?15 porcine kidney epithelial cell line. The Neutralization Dose (ND50) is typically 15-60ng/mL in the presence of 0.2ng/ml recombinant Porcine IFN? gamma. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
