Anti-Glucagon-like Peptide 2 Receptor (GLP2R)

GLP2R is a member of the class II glucagon-secretin G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. It is expressed on enteroendocrine cells in the gut where it mediates the positive effects of GLP2 on villus height, crypt depth and intestinal energy absorbtion. After stimulating a cAMP response, lipid raft-dependent internalization of GLP2R results in rapid desensitization to GLP2. Extracellular portions of human GLP2R show approximately 80% amino acid identity with corresponding regions of mouse GLP2R. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml. Immersion fixed HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line , Flow Cytometry: 2.5x10e5. NS0 mouse myeloma cell line transfected with human GLP-2R., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
