GXYLT2 is a xylosyltransferase (EC 2.4.2.-) that adds the first xylose to O-glucose-modified residues in the epidermal growth factor (EGF, MIM 131530) repeats of proteins such as NOTCH1 (MIM 190198) (Sethi et al., 2010 [PubMed 19940119]). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000, Western Blot: 1:100-500, Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
