Anti-G Protein Coupled Receptor 34 (GPCR34, GPR34)

GPR34 is a widely expressed 75-90kD seven transmembrane segment glycoprotein. It is upregulated on microglia during inflammation and functions as a receptor for lysophosphatidyl-L-serine on mast cells to promote degranulation. Multiple isoforms of GPR34 may result from multiple translation initiation sites and alternative splicing. Human GPR34 shares 89% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat GPR34. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug labels 10e6 A172 human glioblastoma cells fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin., Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed A172 human glioblastoma cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
