Anti-DNAJC9, NT (DNAJC9, DnaJ homolog subfamily C member 9, DnaJ protein SB73)

DNAJC9 is upregulated at both mRNA and protein levels after various mitogenic and stress stimulations. DNAJC9 is mainly localized in cell nuclei under normal culture conditions, and transported into cytoplasm and plasma membrane upon heat shock stress through a non-classical and lipid-dependent pathway. DNAJC9 can interact with HSP70s and activate the ATPase activity of HSP70s, both of which are dependent on the J domain. Research has indicated that DNAJC9 is a novel cochaperone for HSP70s. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
