hCGbeta is a 165 amino acid, ~18kD hormone involved in the stimulation of steroid production essential to the maintenance of pregnancy. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: paraffin, ELISA: 1:100-1:500, Western Blot: Non-reducing conditions, Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from an immunized BALB/c mouse were fused with cells of the mouse myeloma cell line P3-NS1/1-Ag 4.1. Recommended Negative Controls: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control, Recommended Secondary Reagent: F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG HRP , Affinity Constant: 1.6x10e9m (Ka) , Storage and Stability:, May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
