Anti-Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCKA Receptor, CCKAR, AW106902)

Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCKAR) is one of two 7TM receptors for cholecystokinin peptide hormones. This GPCR is involved in gallbladder contraction, insulin secretion, and central nervous system function. CCK-A R has been implicated in pancreatic tumorigenesis as well as the pathogenesis of eating disorders and drug addiction. Human CCK-A R shares 89% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat CCKAR. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:64,000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
