Anti-CDX2 (Homeobox Protein CDX-2, CDX-3, Caudal-type Homeobox Protein 2, CDX3)

CDX2 is a homeobox protein that binds to the A/T rich sequence in the insulin promoter to stimulate transcription. It is a caudal type homeobox gene that encodes an intestine-specific transcription factor that is expressed early in intestinal development. The CDX2 protein is expressed in primary and metastatic colorectal carcinomas and has also been demonstrated in the intestinal metaplasia of the stomach and intestinal-type gastric cancer. It also plays an important role in maintenance of epithelial lining of the intestines. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HCT-116 cells (human colon carcinoma) , Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
