Anti-CD49e (VLA-5, Integrin alpha5 Chain), Biotin conjugated, clone 5K15

CD49e/CD29 heterodimeric fibronectin receptor. It is expressed on thymocytes, activated T cells, mast cells, and a variety of mouse cell lines. Soluble antibody inhibits VLA-5-mediated functions in vitro.Immobilized antibody has also been demonstrated to co-stimulate the proliferative response of CD8+ T cells to plate-bound anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, T-cell co-stimulation and In vitro blocking of adhesion. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: <1ug/10e6 cells, Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
