Anti-CD21 (CD21 Antigen, Complement Component (3d/Epstein Barr Virus) Receptor 2, Complement Recepto

CD21 is a 145kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed by mature B lymphocytes, follicular dendritic cells, subsets of normal thymocytes and subsets of T cells. The CD21 molecule acts as a receptor for CD23, for complement components C3d, C3dg and iC3b and for Epstein Barr Virus. CD21 is part of the signalling complex that is linked to CD19, CD81 and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
