Anti-Cadherin 6, CT (K-Cadherin, Kidney Cadherin, CDH6, Cadherin-6) (Azide free) (PE)

CDH6 is a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily. It is a calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion membrane glycoprotein comprised of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Cadherins mediate cell-cell binding in a homophilic manner, contributing to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types and the maintenance of orderly structures such as epithelium. Strong transcriptional expression of the CDH6 gene has been observed in hepatocellular and renal carcinoma cell lines, suggesting a possible role in metastasis and invasion. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity.
