Expression of BD-2 is induced during inflammation in response to bacterial products and cytokines, and is initially expressed in a precursor form, which is cleaved to release the C-terminal active portion of the protein. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1ug/ml, Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: Suitable for use as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody in sandwich immunoassay. Matched to B0901-03B as the capture or solid phase antibody.
