Source:, Recombinant protein expressed in Pichia pastoris , Description: Canine Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF alpha) is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the canine inflammatory response. Biological Activity: This product has an ED50 of 10pg/ml, determined by measuring the cytolytic effect of recombinant canine TNF alpha on murine WEHI-13VAR-164 cells in the presence of Actinomycin D. Endotoxin Level: <1.1.EU/ug, Applications: Suitable for use in In vitro applications and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
