Clinofibrate

Clinofibrate is a hypolipidemic agent. It inhibits HMG-CoA reductase (IC50 = 0.47 mM) and stimulates the S-indan-1-ol dehydrogenase activity of the human liver 3alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase isoform AKR 1C4 in a concentration-dependent manner.
