BAY-218 is an aryl hydrocarbon receptor antagonist (AhR, IC50 = 39.9 nM). Preincubation with BAY-218 (1 µM) decreases AhR nuclear translocation induced by aflatoxin B1 (Cay-11293) in L-02 hepatocytes and TK6 lymphoblasts.
