Hsp90beta assay kit

The Hsp90beta Assay Kit is designed for identification of Hsp90beta inhibitors using fluorescence polarization. The assay is based on the competition of fluorescently labeled geldanamycin for binding to purified recombinant Hsp90beta. Hsp90beta is a molecular chaperone with essential functions in maintaining transformation. Inhibition of Hsp90beta functions has been shown to play a role in tumorigenesis and disease progression. The Hsp90beta inhibitor screening assay kit comes in a convenient 86-well format, with purified Hsp90beta enzyme, fluorescently labeled geldanamycin and Hsp90 assay buffer for 96 enzyme reactions. The key to the Hsp90beta Assay Kit is the fluorescently labeled geldanamycin. Using this kit, only one simple step on a microtiter plate is required for Hsp90beta reactions. The fluorescently labeled geldanamycin is incubated with a sample containing Hsp90beta enzyme to produce a change in fluorescent polarization that can then be measured using a fluorescence reader.
