Anti-phospho-Synapsin I (Ser549)

Anti-Synapsin I pS549 antibody is directed against rat Synapsin I. The antibody detects Synapsin I ntibodies are affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Immunolabeling of the synapsin I band is blocked by ?-phosphatase treatment. Reactivity is expected from the following species based on 100% sequence homology: bovine, canine, human, mouse, and non-human primate. Protein function: Neuronal phosphoprotein that coats synaptic vesicles, binds to the cytoskeleton, and is believed to function in the regulation of neurotransmitter release.
