Anti-phospho-Synapsin I (Ser603)

Anti-Synapsin I pS9 antibody is directed against bovine Synapsin I. The antibody detects Synapsin I that is phosphorylated at S603. The Anti-Synapsin I pS603 antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Immunolabeling of the synapsin I band is blocked by ?-phosphatase treatment. Reactivity is expected fromthe following species based on 100% sequence homology: human, Xenopus, bovine, mouse, zebra fish. Protein function: Neuronal phosphoprotein that coats synaptic vesicles, binds to the cytoskeleton, and is believed to function in the regulation of neurotransmitter release.
