Human matrix metallopeptidase-1 (MMP1), also known as CLG, Interstitial Collagenase, Fibroblast Collagenase, and EC 3.4.24.7 (GenBank Accession No. NM_002421), a.a. 20-469 (end), with C-terminal His-tag, MW=53 kDa, expressed in an HEK293 cell expression system. Protein function: Cleaves collagens of types I, II, and III at one site in the helical domain. Also cleaves collagens of types VII and X.
