MEK2 pS222-pS226 hu recomb protein

MEK2 pS222-pS226 is a recombinant protein containing a polyhistidine tag expressed in Sf9. This protein is expressed in the presense of constitutively active B-raf (V600E) leading to high levels of phosphorylation of MEK2 activation residues S222 and S226. Analysis by SDS-PAGE resulted in a pattern consistent with purified MEK2 and was estimated to be greater than 95% pure. Protein function: Catalyzes the concomitant phosphorylation of a threonine and a tyrosine residue in a Thr-Glu-Tyr sequence located in MAP kinases. Activates the ERK1 and ERK2 MAP kinases.
