Iodixanol

Iodixanol is a nonionic, water-soluble contrast reagent. It induces apoptosis and mitophagy in renal epithelial cells in a rat model of contrast-induced acute kidney injury. Iodixanol has also been used as a density gradient medium in the fractionation of plasma lipoproteins.
