Anti-MYL2

MYL2(myosin, light chain 2, regulatory, cardiac, slow), also known as MLC-2, MLC2v. Entrez protein NP_000423. MYL2 associated with cardiac myosin beta (or slow) heavy chain. Ca+ triggers the phosphorylation of regulatory light chain that in turn triggers contraction. It is an hexamer of two heavy chains and four light chains that is predominantly expressed in adult cardiac ventricle muscle. Mutations in MYL2 are associated with mid-left ventricular chamber type hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Applications: Western Bloting: 1:500-1:2000., ELISA: Suggested dilution 1:10000., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
