Anti-Lck, p56 (Lymphocyte-specific Tyrosine Kinase)

Lymphocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase (Lck), also known as p56 Lck and Lsk, is a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases. First identified as a gene rearranged and overexpressed in murine lymphomas, lck behaves as a proto-oncogene and its activation can lead to cellular transformation. Lck protein is anchored to the plasma membrane and interacts with the intracellular domains of CD4/CD8 coreceptors in T lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 25ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
