PIK-294 is a potent inhibitor of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) catalytic subunit p110delta (IC50s = 10,000, 490, 10, and 160 nM, for p110 subunit isoforms alpha, beta, delta, and gamma, respectively). It is selective for PI3K p110 subunit isoforms over DNA-PK, mTOR, and eight tyrosine kinases tested.
