Anti-PDK1 (PDPK1, PI?P3 Dependent Kinase, 3a Phosphoinositide dependent Protein Kinase 1)

PDK1 (pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase isoform 1) is involved in the regulation of enzymatic activity of mammalian pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) that is a part of a mitochondrial multienzyme complex to catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and is one of the major enzymes responsible for the regulation of homeostasis of carbohydrate fuels in mammals. PDK1 has been found to serve as an effective therapeutic target for inhibition of glioblastoma growth. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blotting: 1:250-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
