Anti-Osteopontin (OPN), clone 8H122

Osteopontin, also named early T lymphocyte activation protein 1 (ETA-1), secreted phosphoprotein 1 (Spp1) and bone sialoprotein 1, is a secreted acidic phosphorylated glycoprotein originally isolated from bone matrix. It has been shown to bind to different cell types through interactions with various integrins and CD44 variants. It has important functions in bone metabolism and inflammatory processes. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
