Anti-NME1 (Nucleoside Diphosphate Kinase A, Granzyme A-activated DNase, GAAD, Metastasis Inhibition

NME1 (NM23-H1) is a 19-20kD member of the NDK family of enzymes. NME1 is ubiquitous in expression, and performs multiple functions. It forms disulfide-linked homohexamers, and heterohexamers with NME2, generating a nucleoside diphosphate kinase that catalyzes a phosphoryl transfer from ATP to a nucleoside diphosphate. It also shows His and Ser/Thr protein kinase activity, and forms covalent linkages with molecules diverse as p53 and STRAP. It is found both intracellularly, and in blood at ng/mL concentrations. Human NME1 is 152aa in length, contains one NDP kinase domain (aa5-134) and shows acetylation at Ala2 and Lys56, plus phosphorylation at Tyr52, Thr94, Ser122 and Ser125. Human NME1 shares 89% aa identity with human 17-18kD NME2, and 94% aa identity with mouse NME1. A second H1 isoform named M23-H1B with 25 additional aa at the N-terminus has also been described. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
