Anti-NIK (NF-kappa-beta-inducing Kinase, NFkB-inducing Kinase, HsNIK, FTDCR1B, HS, Mitogen-activated

NIK (mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 14), a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, binds to TRAF2 and stimulates NF-kappaB activity. It shares sequence similarity with several other MAPKK kinases. It participates in an NF-kappaB-inducing signalling cascade common to receptors of the tumor-necrosis/nerve-growth factor (TNF/NGF) family and to the interleukin-1 type-I receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1:50-1:100, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
