Anti-KCNQ4, clone S43-6

Anti-KCNQ4 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with KCNQ4 from Human, Rat, and Mouse based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with KCNQ4 from other sources has not been determined. Channels and Transporters research. Protein function: Probably important in the regulation of neuronal excitability. May underlie a potassium current involved in regulating the excitability of sensory cells of the cochlea. KCNQ4 channels are blocked by linopirdin, XE991 and bepridil, whereas clofilium is without significant effect.
