Anti-Glucagon, clone IMD-7

Anti-Glucagon antibody was purified from mouse ascites by protein A chromatography.  This product reacts with human, mouse, rat, and rabbit. Cross reactivity with Glucagon from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Glucagon plays a key role in glucose metabolism and homeostasis. Regulates blood glucose by increasing gluconeogenesis and decreasing glycolysis. A counterregulatory hormone of insulin, raises plasma glucose levels in response to insulin-induced hypoglycemia.
