Anti-CD28, clone 2Q1294

The ligand for CD28 is CD80 (B7) which is found on activated B cells suggesting a role for CD28 in T and B cell interaction. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, T cell proliferation and in cell stimulation studies where it has been suggested that measuring T cell function in HIV infected asymptomatic patients may be an early indicator of AIDS, independent of CD4+ cell counts. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
