Anti-beta Tubulin

Tubulin is a highly conserved alphabeta dimeric protein present and is essential for all eukaryotes. alphabeta-Tubulin dimers assemble into microtubules, dynamic polymers important in a variety of functions, most noticeably, mitosis. Tubulin assembly and disass Protein function: Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules, a cylinder consisting of laterally associated linear protofilaments composed of alpha- and beta-tubulin heterodimers. Microtubules grow by the addition of GTP-tubulin dimers to the microtubule end, where a stabilizing cap forms.
