Anti-Apaf-1 Monoclonal Antibody was Protein A purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Cross reactivity with Apaf-1 [5E11] from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Oligomeric Apaf-1 mediates the cytochrome c-dependent autocatalytic activation of pro-caspase-9 (Apaf-3), leading to the activation of caspase-3 and apoptosis.
