Recombinant Human Cereblon

Human Cereblon (CRBN) serves as the substrate receptor of the DDB1-CUL4-RBX1 (CRL4CRBN) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, where it mediates the recognition and ubiquitination of numerous target proteins, including ILF2 and MEIS2. Upon substrate binding, CRBN recruits target proteins to the E3 ligase complex, promoting their ubiquitination and subsequent degradation by the proteasome. CRBN regulates the stability of diverse cellular proteins, including transcription factors, growth regulators, and kinases. Through its central role in protein homeostasis, CRBN influences multiple signaling pathways involved in development, immunity, and cancer. In addition, CRBN has emerged as a key therapeutic target and is widely studied in targeted protein degradation technologies (PROTACs). This recombinant CRBN was engineered from the wild type CRBN and has a N-terminal His-tag.
