Human CMV pp65 (495-503)

Human cytomegalovirus (CMV) pp65 (495-503) is an immunogenic T cell epitope derived from the CMV matrix protein 65 kDa phosphoprotein (pp65). It binds to HLA-A*0201 in a cell-free assay (IC50 = 90 nM) and induces activation of patient-derived antigen-specific CD8+ T cells. Human CMV pp65 (495-503) has been used as an antigen to generate anti-pp65 antibodies with antiviral activity in a mouse model.
