Fluorometholone

Fluorometholone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors (IC50 = 1.5 nM, Kd = 2.8 nM in a radioligand binding assay). Fluorometholone (0.01%) decreases survival of cultured corneal epithelial cells and inhibits their migration in a scratch assay following 12 hours of treatment.
