Lapaquistat acetate

Description: Lapaquistat acetate is a squalene synthase inhibitor. It also blocks the conversion of farnesyl diphosphate (FPP) to squalene. Lapaquistat acetate is used to Mevalonate Kinase Deficiency (MKD), it is effective at lowering low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, but it might cause liver damage. Target: Others.
